MID-SEASON STRATEGIZING FOR THE CELTICS

Nothing like a little adversity to make things interesting in Boston. The Boston Celtics are the reigning NBA champions and with the core of their championship team almost intact, including all-stars Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen bannering the Celtics again this season, were heavily favored to repeat as NBA champions this season. The Celtics started the season out with a bang, the owners of a 19 game winning streak, their marquee players exhibiting their all-star status forms and their supporting cast providing excellent contribution, especially point guard Rajon Rondo whose over-all game up to December was getting some calls for an All-star berth.
